Unexpectedly following a short illness, in hospital, Ottawa on Wednesday, December 19th, 2001. Ted Kidd (retired following 37 years of service with Ontario Hydro, member of the Perth Blue Wings Hall of Fame, life member of the Links O' Tay Golf Club and the Perth Curling Club) at the age of 69 years. Much loved husband of Frieda G. (Munro) Kidd of Perth. Dear father of Bill (Terry Lynn) of Coquitlam, B.C., Tammy Kidd of Perth and cherished grandfather of Amy and Dillon, Matthew and Christopher. Ted was the loved brother of Lee (Gordon) Earl and the late Margaret Morris. He will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Friday, December 21st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Perth at 11:00 a.m. A private interment will be held in Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Foundation of the Great War Memorial Hospital, Perth or the Cancer Society would be appreciated. The Ottawa Citizen, Dec. 21, 2001
