1950 - 2001. Peacefully at home on December 19, 2001, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle. Daughter of the late Henry Charles Ballington and Marjorie Horton. Beloved wife of Lionel and loving mother of Lynn and Sandra. Dear sister of Craig and wife Alma and devoted aunt of Matthew. Supportive sister-in-law of Ron and Carol. She will also be missed by many friends, cousins Pat (Bob), John (Lynn), Brian (Arlene) and Brenda (Dick), aunt Gladys and by relatives in England. The visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard des Ormeaux, on Friday, December 21 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 22 at 11 a.m. Donations in Susan's memory to the VON Beaconsfield or the West Island Palliative Care Services or the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
