Retired Secretary of State (Student Loan, Department of Veterans Affairs, National Archives Library & Montreal School Teacher Peacefully, at home on Thursday December 20, 2001 at 76 years of age. Daughter of the late James Saunders and the late Lydia Barrow. Dear mother of David (Vera Cikalo), Dale-Ann (Dan MacDonald), Richard (Marion May), Donna (late Jean Mulligan), Darlene (Chris English) and Karen (Joseph Elchakieh). Fond grandmother of Michael, Andrew, Katherine, Peter, Scott, Lydia, Ritchie, Sarah, Courtney, Justin and Ryan. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters; Ruby, George, Mary, Maxine, Scott, Roy and Bruce. She will be resting at the Racine Robert and Gauthier Funeral Home and Chapel on Sunday December 23, from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to be held Monday December 24, 2001 at St. Margaret's Church at 11 am. Donations to the VON would be appreciated.
