Peacefully on December 27, 2001. Born in Montreal on February 21, 1908. Predeceased by his wife Jean (Jennie) Cohen. Dear father and father-in-law of Harriet and Nat Alexander of Calgary, Alberta. Loving grandfather of Francine (Brett), Tammy (Rob), and Jennifer. Loving brother-in-law of Gertie Cohen and the late Hy Cohen. Graveside service at the King Edward Section, Back River Cemetery on Sunday December 30, 2001 at 12:15 p.m. Shiva in Calgary. The family wishes to thank his caregivers at Maimonides Hospital. In lieu of gifts or flowers donations can be made in his memory to the Max Kwavnick Memorial Fund c/o Maimonides Geriatric Hospital or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec.
