Peacefully, at home on Saturday, December 29, 2001 in his 80th year, following a courageous fight with cancer. Beloved husband of the late Helen and much loved father of Robert (Irene) of Brisbane, Australia and Brian (Jill) of Ottawa. Proud Pappy to Elora and Michael Wilson. Cherished brother of Betty Ushher. Career Federal Public Servant, Journalist, RCAF Bomber Command Veteran, renowned storyteller, chronicler and friend. A native son of Shawinigan, Quebec and long time Ottawa resident. His humour and positive nature will be missed by all who knew him.
