(Veteran W.W.II) Peacefully, in hospital, Perth on Monday, December 31, 2001 Wilmer B. Paul in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Gunderson) Paul. Loved father of Brett of Calgary, Alberta Blaine (Janice) of Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Blair of Almonte and the late Brenda (1982). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tammy and Jamie Gemmill, Nathan, Michaela, Aaryn, Amy, Tanya and Kelsey Paul. Dear brother of Evelyn Bingley of Perth. He will be greatly missed by his sister and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Wilmer B. Paul was born in Poland, Ontario and enjoyed hunting, fishing and baseball and was a well liked member of the community. Wilmer enlisted in the R.C.A.F. and served overseas until the war ended. He was a member and past president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 395, Lanark. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth on Wednesday, January 2, 2002 from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, White Cemetery, Poland.
