WILLIAM E. ‘BILL’ CARMODY William E. “Bill” Carmody, 53, of South St. Paul, was called home after a five-month battle with cancer on May 18, 2001. He was predeceased by parents, Bill Sr. and Eva; and sister, Eva. He is survived by loving wife, Janice; daughters, Kris (Rocky), and Karla; step-children, James (Jane), and Geraldine; seven grandchildren; brothers, Harold, and Ken (Sheila); sisters, Mickey (Victor), Shannon (Don), Carol (Jack), and Julie (Lloyd); father and mother-in-law, James and Janet; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Bill was a self-employed truck driver for 32 years, and an avid outdoorsman, who was loved and will be sadly missed by everyone. Memorial service was held Monday, May 21, 2001 at 6 p.m. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, all at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. E. Private family interment.
