Wendall H. Cook 1957-2002 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Wendall Hubert Cook, husband of Brenda Cook, of Upper Water Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 25, 2002, at the age of 45. Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Archibald and Elizabeth (Sullivan) Cook. He was an employee of the Northumberland Co-Op Ltd.; and attended the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi. He is survived by his wife, the former Brenda Boyd; twin daughters, Samatha and Pamela Cook; of Miramichi; one son, Troy Cook, at home; one grandchild, Evan Cook-Weatherbee; seven sisters, Beryl MacDonald, of Miramichi, Eileen MacDonald (Eddie), of Brampton, Ont., Patricia Jenkins, of Redmondville, Marjorie Schubert, of Oxford, N.S., Louise Cook, of Stratford, Ont., Lorraine Gray (Rheal), of Redmondville, and Agnes Fosheim, of Miramichi; three brothers, Paul Cook (Myrna), of St. Margarets, Hugh Cook (Shirley), of Hamilton, Ont., and Brian Cook (Colleen), of Glenwood; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Marie Murray and Jean Stroader. Visitation will be held from Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Tuesday, from 7-9pm and Wednesday, from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Michaels Basilica, on Thursday morning, at 11am, conducted by Father John Fraser, assisted by Father Leo Sullivan. Interment will be in the St. Margarets Roman Catholic Cemetery. Please note, family vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home, on Wednesday afternoon, at 3pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Margarets Cemetery Fund, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
