Maurice J. Martin BAIE STE. ANNE, NB - Mr. Maurice J. Martin, 72, husband of Albertine, of Baie Ste. Anne, NB passed away on August 22, 2002 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, NB he was the son of the late David Martin and Margaret Thibodeau. He was employed as a fisherman, and was a Roman Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Albertine; daughters, Jocelyne Manuel (Jean Marc) of Escuminac, Brenda Martin (Alonzo) and Paula Martin (Dennis) both of Baie Ste. Anne; sons, Arsene (Maureen), Albert (Roselie) and Jean Marc (Janice) of Baie Ste. Anne; sisters, Harriet McLean of Miramichi, Clara Meunier (Adelard) of Laketon, Ethel Comeau of St. Louis, Rolande Daigle (Rheal) of Baie Ste. Anne, Lorette Manuel (Fabien) of Baie Ste. Anne; brothers, Sandy Martin (Evangeline), Reginald Martin both of Baie Ste. Anne, Gerald Martin (Dorothy) of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Baie Ste. Anne Slumberoom with visiting hours on Friday, August 23 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste. Anne on Saturday, August 24, 2002 at 11am. Interment will be in the St. Anne Cemetery, Baie Ste. Anne, NB. Arrangements entrusted to Maher's Funeral Home, Miramichi (773-4321).
