Harold Bernard Robins 1922 - 2002 Harold B. Robins, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, August 18, 2002 in his 80th year. Born in Moncton, NB on August 25, 1922 he was the son of the late Charles and Modwena (Walsh) Robins. He was a member of St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church. He retired in 1987 after 32 years service with Hartz Mountain as District Manager. He was co-sponsor of The Mental Health Daisy Campaign, a member of the Bi-Centennial Skating Club Seniors League, and a volunteer with the Learn to Skate program for seniors, at the Dud James Arena. Harold had a real love for life while spending time at his summer home in Pte. Du Chene. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Dysart); sons, Peter Robins and Ben Robins both of Moncton; daughter- in-law, Edwina Robins of St. John's, NFLD; two granddaughters, Jennifer Robins of Halifax, NS and Andrea Robins of St. John's, NFLD. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Gregory in 2001; sisters, Tillie and Maime; and brothers, George, Bill, Ben and Frank. At his request, there will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at 2:00 pm with Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shediac, NB. In Harold's memory, donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or to The Memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
