Edgar Edward LeBlanc 1923 - 2002 Edgar Edward LeBlanc, of Villa Du Repos, and formerly of McKenzie avenue, Moncton, passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 17, 2002 at the age of 79 years. Born in Moncton, NB on May 5, 1923 he was the son of the late Leo and Julia Leger LeBlanc. He was retired from the Canadian National Railway after 31 years service as a Brakemen. Edgar served in the United Kingdom, Central Mediterrean area and Continental Europe. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, The Dieppe Veterans, and the CNR Pensioneers. He is survived by his wife Blanche (Langis); son Ronald LeBlanc of Moncton; sisters Jacqueline Richard and Lorraine Young both of Moncton; brothers Raymond (Marion) LeBlanc of Bridgewater, NS and Henry LeBlanc of Moncton, Also by his God Mother Mary Bedford of Moncton. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz Street on Monday August 19, 2002 from 9:00 am until time of departure at 10:45am to St. Bernards Roman Catholic Church, where the Mass will be held at 11:00 am with Father Jean Couture officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery. In Edgars memory, donations made to The Dr. Georges - L. Dumont Hospital Oncology Unit would be appreciated by his family.
