Frederick J.W. Colpitts 1951-2002 Frederick John Walter (Ted) Colpitts, of Pleasant Street, Moncton, and Treasure Island, Cocagne, died suddenly at The Moncton Hospital on August 4, 2002 at the age of 50 years. Born in Moncton on November 11, 1951 he was the son of Mabel Jean (Bailey) and the late William Lyon Colpitts. Ted was a member of the Humphrey Memorial United Church. Besides his mother with whom he resided he was survived by his sister, Linda Jean Colpitts-Pratt of Shediac Cape; brother, William Gregory (Wendy MacQuarrie) of Moncton; nephews Jody Pratt (Becky Read) of Shediac Cape, Matthew Colpitts of Moncton, Trevor Colpitts of Fredericton; niece, Carrie Pratt of Shediac Cape; grand nephew, Billy Pratt and grand niece, Emily Pratt. His father William predeceased him in 1994. A memorial service will be held on Treasure Island, Cocagne, NB with date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Humphrey Memorial United Church or The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
