MARTIN, Marwood Ashley On Sunday May 19, 2002, I lost my husband and best friend, we lose our loving an devoted father and father-in-law and our children lost the best Grandpa in the World. Marwood passed away at age 63 at his residence in Oldcastle. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Jean (Bailey), father of Sherie and Mike (Meloche), Leslie and Brian (Markowsky), Penny and Dan (Delisle) and Julie and Steve (Skov). Loving Grandfather of Lindsay & Ashley Meloche, Hailey Markowsky, Kyle & Brooke Delisle, Mackenzie & Baby Justin Skov. He is predeceased by his parents Ashley & Ena Martin. Brother and brother-in-law to Doris and Frank Smith, Dorothy and Eugene Mailloux, Lynwood and Lois Martin, Kristin Martin, Margaret Drouillard, Ken and Gert Bailey, Eva Bailey and Robert Bailey. Predeceased by Clayton Martin (1990), Delight Brady (1979), Gordon Martin (1974) and Clayton Bailey (1989). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Retired in 1988 after 30 years from Husband Transport Limited and was an avid farmer employed at Wismer Brothers for many years. Retired member of the Windsor Transportation Club, served as Councillor of Sandwich south Township and was a member of St. Stephens Anglican Church. Visitation at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg Tuesday May 21 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services Wednesday May 22 at 11:00 a.m. then to Rose Hill Cemetery, Elder Darwin and Robert Wismer officiating. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation if you so desire. Marwood's number one joy in his life was his family and he will be greatly missed by all. We love you Marwood, Dad and Grandpa. A tree will be planted in memory of Marwood Martin in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady, Sutton Heritage Forest
