McGARVEY, James (Jim) Peacefully with his loving family by his side on May 19, 2002 at 69 years of age. Cherished husband and best friend of Marion (nee Gerard) with whom he celebrated 43 years of marriage. Loving dad of Karen and husband Kevin McCann. Devoted grandpa of Brooke, Justin and Eric. Beloved brother of the late Billy McGarvey (1937), Anne wife of the late Frank Martin (1997), and late Joan (1997) wife of Gary Sewell, the late Patrick McGarvey (1998), the late Mary (2000) and Jim (1999) Gauthier and Michael McGarvey. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. James was in sales with Sarns Corporation in Michigan and was a member of R.C.L. Branch #594 and the Windsor Sportsman Club. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Wednesday 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Prayers Wednesday 7:30 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Avenue. On Thursday family and friends are to meet at Christ The King Church after 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
