JACOBS, Robert "Bobby Joe" Jonas Passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2002. at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Cornwall, Ontario; age 42 years. Resident of Sugar Bush Island, Snye, Quebec. He is survived by his beloved companion Connie Lazore of Sugar Bush Island. Son of Leonard Oakes Sr., Cornwall Island and Mary Jacobs, Akwesasne, stepson of Stanley Burnham, Akwesasne. Dear father of Annie, Bianca and Christopher all of Syracuse, New York. Dear brother of Candace Oakes (Kevin Millett), Cornwall Island, Leonard Oaks Jr. (Sherry), Akwesasne, New York, Francis and Nick Oaks, Utica, New York. He will be missed by his nieces and nephew Kiersten, Kaylin, Nick and Jaade, and his many aunts and cousins. Friends may call at his home on Sugar Bush Island, Snye, Quebec, starting Tuesday evening until time of prayers at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Regis Catholic Church on Thursday, November 21, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements under the care of the Donaldson Funeral Home Massena, New York.
