Alexina Neron, Extendicare Nursing Home, Kapuskasing, died at the nursing home on Dec. 13, 2002. She was 86 years-old. Mrs. Neron was born in Ste. Rosette, New Brunswick on June 3, 1916. She worked as housewife. Mrs. Neron was predeceased by husband Joseph David, daughters Thérèse, Lucienne and Hélène, mother-in-law Emma Boudreau, sisters Hermenild, Brigitte and Simone and brothers Léo, Omer, Gérard, Emmaunel and André. She is survived by sons Jean (Joyce) of Fauquier, Lucien (Lorraine), Réne (Laurette), Gérard (Hélène) and Daniel (Denise), all of Moonbeam, François (Nicole) of Hull, and Louis (Linda) of Kapuskasing; daughters Denise (René) Guilmette of Timmins, Marguerite Néron of Elliot Lake, Thérèse (Alyre) Haché of Moonbeam, Simone (Lionel) Haché of Fauquier and Cécile (Jean-Louis) Levesque of Smooth Rock Falls; brothers Jean, Alfred and Félix Doucet, all of Kap and Arthur of Surrey, British Columbia; and sisters Marguerite Godin, Rose Leblanc, Evelyne Chainez and Thérèse Doucet, all of Kap. Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Rev. Jean-Guy Mailloux officiated the funeral service at Nativité de Marie Church. Mrs. Neron will be interred at the Moonbeam Cemetery.
