Laurent GAGNOPN

Laurent Gagnon of Fauquier, died at Sudbury Regional Hospital on Nov. 14, 2002. He was six days from his 80th birthday. Mr. Gagnon was born in Tingwick, Quebec. on Nov. 20, 1922. He worked as a labourer for the Department of Highways. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Golden Age Club. Mr. Gagnon is survived by wife Germaine; sons Etienne (Suzanne) of Fauquier, Cyril and Michel, both of Kapuskasing; daughters Diane St. Amour of Kap, Lise (Ange-Aimé) Michaud of Val Rita and Huguette (Richard) Lamothe of Smooth Rock Falls; and brothers Jean-Marc of Timmins and Yvon of SRF. Also surviving are six grandchildren and one great grandson. Rev. Jean Morin officiated the funeral service at St. Agnes Church. Mr. Gagnon will be interred at the Fauquier Cemetery.
