Armand Francois Dufresne, 2 McPherson, Kapuskasing, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on Sept. 15, 2002. He was 73 years old. Mr. Dufresne was born Jan. 28, 1929 in Kapuskasing and was a lifelong resident. He worked in the production department for Spruce Falls Pulp and Paper. He was a member of Club Uno and Alcoholics Anonymous and enjoyed walking, dancing, and going for coffee. He also loved dogs. Mr. Dufresne was predeceased by his wife Rollande, his parents, brothers Aurel, Victor and Louis and sister Marie-Luce. He is survived by friend Marie Nobert; son Daniel (friend Lynn Caron) of Kapuskasing; sisters Madelaine, Colette and Carmel of Kap, Jacqueline of Vancouver and Aline (Ross Hickey) of Los Angeles and brothers Raymond, Georges (friend Lise) Gilles (Aline), and Jean (Gaynia), all of Kap. Also surviving is granddaughter Jennifer, great granddaughter Kayla, sister-in-law Simone Tremblay-Godard and niece Louise (Bob). Rev. Gilles Gosselin will direct the funeral service today at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculée Conception church. Mr. Dufresne will be interred at the Kapuskasing Cemetery.
