Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Thursday, August 29, 2002. Stella May Blackburn in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Percy Blackburn on Jan. 4, 1991. Dear mother to Howard (Joe) Blackburn of Kapuskasing and Joyce (Ralph) Wagner of Oshawa. Predeceased by her son Jim Blackburn. Beloved grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 3. The family received friends at the W. J. Cavill Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Friday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service was held in the chapel on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment followed at Mickle Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Johanne Hills officiated.
