Gilberte COUTURE

Funeral services for longtime Hearst resident and retired store employee Gilberte (née Couture) Veilleux, 67, of Fontaine Dr. were held July 25, 2002. She died July 20 at Notre-Dame Hospital. Born Nov. 21, 1934 in Disraëli, Quebec, she came to the area in 1950. A sales employee at the Hearst Hudson's Bay (now Northern) store since September 1964, she retired as office manager in late November 1994. Rev. Gérald Chalifoux officiated the service at the Église St-Pie-X. Interment followed at the Monseigneur Grenier Cemetery.
