Mary NELSON

Mary Mallais of 21 Brock Cr., died at Sensenbrenner Hospital Kapuskasing, on July 7, 2002. She was 81 years old. Mrs. Mallais was born on Feb. 16, 1921 in Nipigon, Ontario. Mrs. Mallais worked as a labourer in the Laundry industry. She enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Blue Jays as well as playing cards, and cribbage. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar and three children. She is survived by her four sons Clifford (Pat) Ducharme of Atikokan, Ernest Ducharme of B.C., Wilfred (Lise) Mallais of Val Rita and Daniel Mallais of Kap, three daughters Jeannette (Gilbert Roussel) Wannamaker of Kap, Claudette (Peter Brown) Boily of Niagara Falls, Annette (Jacques) Otis of Val Rita, two sisters; Ida Barette of Ottawa and Martha Laframboise of Nipigon, one brother Frank Nelson of Nipigon, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on July 11 at the Kapuskasing Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Father Roger Pronovost will be performing the service. Cremation took place at Hillcrest Crematorium, Matheson.
