Réjeanne (née Lavoie) Moffet, 105 Devonshire, Kapuskasing, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on May 17, 2002. She was 67 years old. Mrs. Moffet was born Oct. 13, 1934 in Kapuskasing. She worked as a housewife. She enjoyed curling, watching hockey, and ceramics. She was a leader in the brownies and while in Ottawa she worked at the Ottawa Hunt Club Golf Course and for Olsten Health Care. Mrs. Moffet was predeceased by her father Théodore Lavoie and sister Jeannine Tessier. She is survived by husband Major (Air) Désiré Moffet CD3 (retired) of Kapuskasing, daughter Rose-Marie (Dr. Wilson) Asfora of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, son Michel of Kingston and mother Simone Lavoie of Kap. Also surviving are sisters Réa Giguère of Thunder Bay and Denise Lavoie of Winnipeg, Manitoba and brother Léo Lavoie of Thunder Bay. Mrs. Moffet had four grandchildren: Wesley, Eloise, Daniel and Dale. Rev. Pierre Gosselin directed the funeral service at Immaculée Conception. Cremation at the Hillcrest Crematorium in Matheson.
