Funeral services for former Hearst resident Carol Louis Allard, 46, of Sudbury were held June 3, 2002. He died May 20 at Sudbury's St-Joseph Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1956 in Hearst, he had moved to Sudbury several years ago. Predeceased by his mother Éliane Allard of Hearst in 1992, he leaves his father André Allard of Hearst, a son Marc Allard and daughter Lucie Allard, both of Sudbury, four brothers in Ontario, and grandson Gabriel Caves of Sudbury. Rev. Rémi Lessard officiated the afternoon service at the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral, followed by interment at the Monseigneur Grenier Cemetery.
