Amédée GRANT

Amédée “Bob” Grant died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on April 27, 2002. He was 76 years old. He was born in New Brunswick in 1926. He worked for Spruce Falls. Mr. Grant was a great fan of the Toronto Blue Jays. He was predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers, 6 sisters, his mother and father-in-law, and two brother-in-laws, one sister , and one sister-in-law. He is survived by his wife Rita (née Bisson) of Kap. Daughter Shirley (Richard) Gosselin of Hearst and son Gary (Natasha) of Kap, two sisters Cecile Vienneau and Simone Patterson, one brother Jean Emile Grant, all of New Brunswick, two brothers-in-law Jean (Louise) Bisson of Kap, André of Thunder Bay, three sisters-in-law Rejeanne (Emile) Groulx of Kap, Anita and Annette Bisson both of Sarnia, grandchildren, Trevor, Mireille and foster grandparent of Patrick Desgroseilliers. Visitation will take place today at the Génier-Thomson Funeral Home from noon until the time of departure for church. Funeral services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church at 2 p.m. Cremation took place at Hill Crest Crematorium in Matheson. Spring interment will take place at the Kapuskasing Cemetery.
