Claude Blais of 7 Con. Rd. Fauquier, died at Sudbury Regional Hospital on April 17, 2002. He was 65 years old. He was born in Timmins on Oct. 21, 1936. A salesman and farmer by profession, he was also a furniture designer. Mr. Blais enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on and riding his tractors. He was predeceased by his wife Juliette, his father Rodolphe and his mother first Gloria. He is survived by his mother Annoncia Blais of Kap, his wife Mona of Fauquier, one daughter Tina (Rémi) Lachance of Timmins, and two sons Denis (Claudie) of Fauquier, Dino (Julie) of Calgary. He also leaves three brothers: Robert and Raymond both of Fauquier, and Rodolphe of Timmins, and by sisters Anna Marie Tremblay of Fauquier, Annette Cousineau of Hearst, Sandra Ricard of Dowling. There are eight grandchildren, Simon, Pierre, Philippe, Kim, Yanick, Joey, Chanel, Geniva. Funeral services were held at St. Agnes Church with Rev. Jean Morin performing the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested donations be made to the charity of your choice. Interment will be at the Fauquier Cemetery.
