Jean BÉLANGER

Jean Belanger, 35 Devonshire, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing, on Feb. 26, 2002. She was 96 years old. Mrs. Belanger was born on Jan. 12, 1906 in Haliburton. She was a housewife. She was a member of the Sensenbrenner Hospital Auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary to Legion Branch 85, Silver Seniors and the PC party. She enjoyed reading, watching sports, and playing crib and bridge. Mrs. Belanger was predeceased by her husband Albert and brother Robert. She is survived by son Arnold (Susan) of Moonbeam, sisters Josephine Randa of Cochrane and Ruth Fasano of Oakville and grandchildren Andrew and Grant. Rev. Doug McKay will direct the funeral service tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the Guenette Funeral Home chapel. Mrs. Belanger will be interred at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
