Stella Jolie Viau, 225 St. George's St. Toronto, died at the Leisure World Nursing Nome, on Jan. 4, 2002. She was 80 years old. She was born on Dec. 22, 1921 in Penetanguishene. She was a housewife. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph Jolie and Clara Piette, five brothers Hermas (Solange), Alcide (Rita), Robert, Clement (Joan), one daughter Denise, one sister Levina (Armand) Genest. She is survived by three sons Jean Paul, Romeo, Robert, five daughters Clarice, Irene, Carole, Rachel, and Evelyne, two brother Bernard (late Yvonne) and Marcel (Mary), one sister Valerie (late Eximene) Lecuyer, six grandchildren Antoine, Jason, Rene, Eric, Stephane and Jean Francois; one great grandchild Maya. Services will be held at Genier Gauthier Funeral Chapel, on May 17, at 2:00 pm. Interment will take place at the Kapuskasing Cemetery.
