Ida Saulnier SAINT-JOSEPH DE KENT, NB - Ida Saulner, 91, widow of Joseph Emilien Saulnier (1979), of Saint-Joseph Road, Saint-Joseph de Kent, NB, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2002 at Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent, NB after a lengthy illness. Born in Bouctouche, NB on March 21, 1911 she was the daughter of the late Maxime LeBlanc and Marie Boucher. She was a housewife and attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. She is survived by her seven daughters, Laura Cormier (Aurele), Diane Cormier (Normand) both of Saint-Antoine de Kent, Irène Cormier of Moncton, Maria LeBlanc (Yvon) of Saint-Joseph de Kent, Jeannine Thébeau (Léon) of Irishtown, Madeleine LeBlanc of Bradford, ON, Stella LeBlanc (Roger) of Sainte-Marie de Kent; eight sons, Laurie (Andréa), Gérald (Annette), Gérard (Bénita) all of SaintJoseph de Kent, Jean-Paul (Dorice) of Bouctouche, Alphée (Rose-Marie) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Joseph (Bertha) of McKees Mills, Arthur (Betty) of SaintAntoine de Kent, Ronald (Cathy) of Cocagne; one brother, Michel of Bouctouche; 64 grandchildren, 74 great grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two daughters, Marie and Elda at age 5; two sons, Willie at 14 months and Joseph at birth. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd, Bouctouche, NB with visiting hours Tuesday, September 3 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Wednesday, September 4 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 5:30 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at 7:00 pm. Interment in Parish Cemetery Arrangements in care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
