Nora O'Brien Nora O'Brien, 84, wife of the late Laurie O'Brien, of High Street, Moncton, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2002 at her residence. Born June 10, 1918 in Shediac River, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Leménager and Sylvia LeBlanc. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Shirley Dupuis with whom she resided; her granddaughter, Nicole Obermaier (Mark) of Halifax; her sister, Mable Melanson (late Walter) of Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is predeceased by her sisters, Doris Gaudet, Hélène LeBlanc; and her brother Irvin. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of departure (9:45). The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2002 at Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
