L. Ralph Francis The death of L. Ralph Francis, husband of Esme Davis Francis, of Peoples Park Tower occurred at the Veteran's Health Care Centre, Moncton on Thursday, September 5, 2002. Born February 15, 1922 in Crapaud, PEI he was the son of the late Harry and Josephine (Francis) Francis. Ralph had been a Commercial Traveller with Sumner Co. Ltd for over 30 years before his retirement. He attended the Salvation Army Citadel and was also a member of the Northwest Commercial Travellers Association of Canada since 1954. A veteran of the Second World War he served with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1945. He is survived by his loving wife, Esme Davis Francis; their chosen daughter, Sharon (Neil) Templeton of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert and Cindy; nephews, Arnold Francis of Hartford, CT, Winston Francis of Florida; his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kennedy of Gowanstown, Ont. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Elmer. By request there will not be any visiting hours prior to a private graveside service on Saturday, September 7 at 11 am in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens- Garden of the Good Shepherd. Memorials made in Ralph's name to the Salvation Army Family Services would be appreciated by the family.
