Mary "Minnie" Edith McNally TRURO, NS - Mary "Minnie" Edith McNally, 90, of Willow Street, Truro and formerly of Brunswick Street, Truro, died Monday, September 16, 2002 in the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Richibucto, Kent Co., NB on April 6, 1912, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Celeste (Daigle) Long. She was a member of the N.S. Rose Society, Audobon Society (avid birdwatcher and naturalist). Member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Truro and past member of the Catholic Women's League. She is survived by sons, Martin McNally and wife Betty of Dartmouth; Russell McNally and wife Marjorie of Truro; sisters, Jane Fisher of Truro; Margaret Long of Halifax; Tina Williams of Manchester, NH; granddaughters, Nadine McNally of Dartmouth; Sarah McNally and Kelly McNally both of Truro; Tracy Llewellyn of Halifax; great-grandson, Steven Llewellyn of Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband Martin Gordon McNally; sister, Olive Bradley; brothers, John Long, Richard "Dick" Long and Ronald Long. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 2pm, Thursday, from the Immaculate Conception Church, Truro, Father Ronald Cairns officiating, with private family burial in the Robie Street Cemetery, Truro.
