Alonzo RICHARD

Alonzo Richard Alonzo Richard, of War Veteran Street, Moncton NB, and formerly of Sainte- Anne de Kent, passed away at Centre de Santé des Vétérans, Moncton, NB, on Monday September 16, 2002 after a lengthy illness. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent, NB on December 22, 1920. He was the son of the late Cléophas Richard and Emma Maillet. He was a welder with Irving for several years and was a member of the Roman Catholic Legion Branch 6, Moncton. He served in WW II and with The North Nova Scotia Regiment overseas from 1940- 1945. Alonzo is survived by one daughter, Diane Williams (Tom) of Erin, ON; four sons, Edgar of Ottawa, Albert of Guelph, ON, Paul of Calgary, AB, Roger of Malton, ON and their mother, Yvonnise (Allain) Richard; three sisters, Marie Girouard (Auguste) of Moncton, Alfreda Richard of Hartford, Conn., Marguerite Roy (Gerard) of Brampton, ON; four brothers, Joseph of Dieppe, Aquila (Marie-Anna) of Cocagne, Edouard (Thérese) of Vernan, BC, Réginald (Rose-Mai) of Hartford, Conn.; one grandchild Richard and other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Lorette; two brothers Albert, Emile. Resting at Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Wednesday September 18, 2002 with visitation from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral service to be held at Sainte-Anne de Kent Roman Catholic Church Thursday September 19, 2002 at 7pm. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
