Geraldine Adel Melanson 1925 - 2002 Geraldine "Gerry" A. Melanson, formerly of Reade Street Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at the age of 77 years. Born in Souris West, PEI she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Charlotte (Perry) Boudreau. She attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. She worked at The T. Eaton Co as a clerk and The Hosery Boutique in the sales and office depts. She was a life member of the Secretarial Association. She is survived by daughters Paulette Melanson of LaPocatiere, Quebec, Sheila (Christian) Fulham of Oakville, Ont, and Sheryl (Jason) Goodwin of Edmonton, AB.; son in law Michael Blaufus of Oakville, Ont.; sister Eileen Gallant of Souris, PE, and Mildred Gallant of Quebec.; brother Reginald of St. Charles, PE.; Five grandchildren, Shawn, Sarah, Selena, Kayla and Jordan. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Eugene Melanson in December of 1991, daughter Deborah Blaufus in 2001; sister Margaret; and brother Noel. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz Street on Friday September 20, 2002 from 7:00- 9:00pm. The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 21, 2002 at 10:30 am with Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. In Gerry's memory, donations made to the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by her family.
