Kenneth D. Lawry OAKLAND, FL - Kenneth D. Lawry, 87, passed away at South Florida Medical Center, Oakland, Florida, on September 19, 2002. Born in Detroit, MI, son of the late Joseph and Olive (LaFond) Lawry. Ken was a member of St. John's United Church, Moncton and an adherent of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Margate, Florida, veteran of the Second World War served overseas with the United States Army. Ken will be sadly missed by his wife, Hazel Stewart-Lawry, Moncton; step-sons, James Stewart (Shauna), Malagash, NS, Dr. Andrew Stewart (Christine), Bedford, NS; as well as their families; step-sister, Vivian Gilmore, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Predeceased by his former wife, Virginia (MacDonald) Lawry. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), time and date to be announced. Interment, Fair Haven Cemetery.
