Beatrice Taylor SAINT JOHN, NB - Beatrice Taylor of Saint John, formerly of the Moncton area, passed away Monday, September 30 at The Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born February 20, 1911 in Moncton, she was a daughter of the late Weyman and Gertrude (Geldart) Trites. She was a retired member of the teaching profession, having taught at Edith Cavell in Moncton, as well in Dorchester and Sackville, NB. She is survived by one brother, John Trites of Saint John; one sister, Elsie DuVal of Belfast, NY; a daughterin-law, Helen King of Gladeside; two granddaughters, Deborah Bloom and Allison Elaine McLaughlin both of Ontario; four great grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Jeremy and Holly as well several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband George E. King; second husband, Clarence Jonah and her third husband, Alfred Taylor; a son Allison King and grandson, Morgan King, and four brothers, Gurney, Hubert, Kenneth and Stewart. By her request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 3 at 1:00 PM from The Elmwood Cemetery.
