Claudette Richard Claudette Richard, 44, of Weldon Street, Moncton, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at the Dr Georges-L. Dumont Hospital following an allergic reaction to her medications. Born May 29, 1958 in GrandeDigue, she was the daughter of the late Roméo and Alice (Downing) Richard. She is survived by one daughter Carol Close (Jeremy Jensen) of Moncton; one son Corey Close (Cindy Savoy) of Moncton; four sisters, Thérèse Gregson (Bill) of Vancouver, Elizabeth Richard (Sylvestre McLaughlin) of Moncton, Violette Love (Wayne) of Aurora, ON, Bernadette Richard (Donnie Chapman) of Halifax; six brothers, Alonzo (Irene), Normand (Edmire), and Bernard all of Grande-Digue, Léon (Judy) and Claude (Annette) both of Fort Lauderdale, Maurice (Caroline) of Moncton; her former husband John Close; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Mona. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of departure (9:45). The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2002 at Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Interment will be in Grande-Digue, NB.
