Fleming Harry Ogilvie PETITCODIAC, NB - Fleming Harry Ogilvie of Petitcodiac, 81, passed away Monday, October 14, 2002 at The Moncton Hospital. Born August 5, 1921 in Glenvale, he was a son of the late Harry and Bessie (Perry) Ogilvie. He was a retired employee of the Department of Transportation, he was a member of the Petitcodiac United Baptist Church, an avid crib player, member of the Petitcodiac Sportsman Club, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 41 where he held various offices including Past President. He was a Veteran of World War II, and had received the Palm Leaf Award in 2002. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Hawkins); daughters, Brenda Flanders (Dave) of Fawcett Hill, Beverly Ogilvie of Vancouver; sons, Gordon (Wendy) of Moncton, David (Darlene) of Petitcodiac; sisters, Donna Foster of Corn Hill, Lana Douglas (Gordon) of Moncton; brother, Reid of Glenvale; grandchildren, Adam and Matthew Ogilvie, Justin and Brodie Flanders, Rodney, Jamie and Kimberly Ogilvie; great grandchildren, Shania, Shaun and Carter Ogilvie; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Helen MacKenzie. The remains are resting at Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, with visiting hours on Tuesday from 7-9 pm, Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral will be held from the Petitcodiac United Baptist Church on Thursday, October 17, 2002 at 1:00 pm, Rev. G. Cook officiating. Burial will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 41 will be holding a memorial service at the funeral home, Wednesday at 7 pm.
