Mr. Charles Whitty MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. Charles Whitty, 92, of King Street, passed away on October 16, 2002 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late James J. Whitty and Mary Agnes Rielly. He wrote for Moncton Publishing Co. for many years, and attended the Roman Catholic Church St. Michael's Basilica Miramichi, NB. He is survived by George J. Whitty of Loggieville, Cecilia A. Whitty of Montreal and John D. Whitty of Montreal. Predeceased by wife Geraldine Riensborough Whitty; sisters, Mayme Whitty Bell, Gertrude Whitty Wrigley, Eleanor Whitty and a child Cecilia Whitty and brother, Frank T. Whitty. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home on Friday October 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral Mass is at St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, NB on October 19 , 2002 at 11 am.
