Amos Joseph Belliveau AMHERST, NS - Amos Joseph Belliveau, 90, of Amherst, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2002. He is survived by two daughters, Doris Hatt (Fred) of Alma, NB and Eleanor Batuik (Lawrence) of Edmonton, Alberta; two sons, Reggie (Yvonne) of Saint John, NB and Douglas (Tina) of Sydney, Australia; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, the former Gladys Brine; a sister, Margaret Smith; one brother, Frank; one grandson, Larry Batuik. His remains are resting at Furlong's Funeral Home in Amherst with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. His funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in River Hebert on Wednesday at 10 am. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Denis Cemetery, Minudie or the charity of your choice.
