Eric Ronald DIXSON

Eric Ronald Dixson DARTMOUTH, NS - Eric Ronald Dixson, passed away at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, November 2, 2002. Born in Moncton, NB, June 17, 1950, he is survived by his parents, Herbert and Viva (Hare) Dixson, Moncton, NB; his loving wife, Lynda "The Bride"; his stepson, Jonathan; brothers, Brian, Ottawa, Kevin, Barrie, ON; many aunts, uncles and cousins. A graduate of Moncton High School and Dalhousie University, he was a valued and dedicated Federal Government employee of 30 years, working with HRDC (formerly Employment and Immigration) where he designed the logo used by HRDC in Nova Scotia. He was a member and past president of Austenville Owls Club, where he leaves behind many valued friends. He was a past member of the Carving Association, and enjoyed oil painting, and was an avid sportsman in his younger years. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2002 in Mattatal Funeral Home, 217 Portland St, Dartmouth., NS. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday in Grace United Church, 70 King St., Dartmouth, NS, Stephen D. Fram officiating.
