Harry Archibald Hayman Miller Nov. 22,1948 Nov. 4, 2002 EDMONTON, AB - On Monday, November 4, 2002, Mr. Harry Miller of Edmonton, passed away peacefully at his home with the comfort and support of his family. A remarkable ten month journey had come to an end - but cancer had still not beaten the will of this well loved and respected Father, husband and businessman. Since being diagnosed last January, Mr. Miller truly lived every day to the fullest, achieving everything he set out to do. As a result, he taught us all so much about living. Mr. Miller's determination and attitude made his journey a beautiful one of love and hope - made possible by the enduring support of his family, special friends, colleagues and business associates; outstanding medical professionals and loyal care-givers. Special gratitude is expressed to Harry's medical team including Dr. Michael Handman, Dr. Allison Theman, Dr. Peter Venner, and Dr. Gerald Todd. The family also wishes to express its appreciation to the Alberta Cancer Board, its CEO, Executive and staff for their very valued support. Mr. Miller leaves to celebrate his life, his devoted wife of 28 years, Martha, their sons, William, Sean, Christopher and his special friend Elena; his Mother Dorothy and his brothers Brent and John all of Moncton; his Mother-inlaw Patricia Leahey of Moncton; his sister-in-law Margaret (Leahey) and her husband Douglas Bailey; brothers- in-law Casey Leahey and his wife Sherry Maljan; Brian Leahey and his wife Jill; Bill Leahey and his wife Jane; Dr. Edward Leahey and his wife Sandy; and Paul Leahey and his wife Barb; his Aunt Marian Miller; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Harry was predeceased by his Father in 1976. In celebration of Harry's life and for those who journeyed with him and his family, a Memorial Reception will be held at the Edmonton Golf and Country Club on Saturday, November 16 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
