Léo J. Belliveau 1906 - 2002 Léo Belliveau, 96, of Manoir Notre- Dame, Moncton, formerly of St. Anselme, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Scoudouc, he was the son of the late Philippe and Marie (née: LeBlanc) Belliveau. Mr. Belliveau had retired from the CN shops, had also been affiliated with the management of Verger Belliveau in Memramcook, he was also a member of the Club d'Age d'Or de St. Anselme. He is survived by one sister, Florence Rice of Edmunston; by one daughter-in-law, Aline Belliveau, of Allardville; five grandchildren, Léo Paul, Jean-Louis, Michel, Jean-Guy and Marc-André; five great grandchildren; a devoted and faithful friend, Corinne; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Belliveau was predeceased by his first wife, Marie (née: Nowlan), by his second wife, Dora (née: Bourgeois); by his son, Guy; five sisters, Claudia, Armézine, Ida, Irene and Maria and also by three brothers, Louis-Philippe, André and Emery. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Sunday November 10, 2002 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm and also on Monday from 10 am until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church, on Monday, November 11, 2002 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame du Calvaire Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Léo was loved and admired by all who knew him.
