Melba Dorothy Fawcett Melba Dorothy Fawcett, 79, of Petitcodiac, formerly of Killams Mills, passed away, Monday, November 11, 2002 at the Moncton Hospital. Born April 1, 1923 in Calumet, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Bennett) Filoon. She was a member of the Petitcodiac Baptist Church, was a life member and dominion member of WMS at First North River Baptist Church, a former member of LBTA and OES Lodges, and a member of FSNA. She is survived by one son, Garry Filoon of Lively, Ontario; sister, Dorothy Weldon of Greenville, Quebec; brother, David Filoon of Point-au-Chene, Quebec; three grandchildren; one nephew; several cousins. Predeceased by her husband, Roy A. Fawcett. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at 11am from the First North River Cemetery, Rev. G. Cook officiating.
