Hannah MacNab NEW MINAS, NS - Hannah MacNab, 85 of New Minas, NS passed peacefully away in her sleep on Wednesday, November 13, 2002. Born November 3, 1917 in Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, she was the daughter of the late Hannah and Easterby Sloan and immigrated to Canada as a young girl. Hannah's greatest joy was her family, followed by her love of music and dancing. The dancing duo of Hannah and Graham MacNab were often referred to as the "Fred and Ginger" of the valley. Another great pleasure was her summer flower garden. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Klinghammer, Moncton, Shirley, Blomidon; four sons, Alan (Cindy), Pennsylvania, PA, Graham Jr. (Marita), Elmsdale, NS, David, Morden, NS and Rick, Wolfville, NS; also, 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Predeceased by husband Graham and granddaughter, Danika. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lindsey's Funeral Home, Kentville, NS. Memorial service only, Sunday, 2:00pm from the funeral home. Donations to memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
