Madelaine Poirier 1913 - 2002 NOTRE-DAME, NB - Madelaine Poirier, 89, of Notre-Dame, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2002 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Urbain and the late Roseanne (née LeBlanc) Babineau. She is survived by two daughters, Ernestine (Rene) Cormier and Claudette (Paul) Chevarie, both of Notre- Dame; four sons, Joseph (Lucie) of Bouctouche, Alfred (Gisele), Paul- Emile (Rhéa) and Desirée (Alida), all three of Notre-Dame; one sister, Rita (Eddie) Maillet, of St. Antoine; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Poirier was predeceased by her husband, Ernest in 1973; and one brother, Alfred. Visitation will be held from Notre- Dame-du-Sacre-Coeur Funeral Salon on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 until time of departure. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-du-Sacre- Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre- Dame, NB on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at 7pm. Interment in Notre- Dame-du-Sacre-Coeur Parish Cemetery.
