Wayne Whitfield Bishop LOWER SACKVILLE, NS - Wayne Whitfield Bishop, 59, of Lower Sackville, passed away November 29, 2002, at home, with his wife and children by his side. Born in Petitcodiac, New Brunswick, he was a son of Kenneth and Ethel Bishop of Petitcodiac. He served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 32 years. He was posted in Sydney, Ingonish, Port Hawkesbury, Antigonish, Truro and had several postings in the Halifax Metro area. After his retirement, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Carol (MacFadyen); son, Kenneth, Halifax; daughter, Natalie (Michael) Wilson, Lower Sackville; sister, Shirley Murphy, Petitcodiac, grandchildren, Chad and Chloe; brother-in-law, Doug MacFadyen, Riverview, New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Monday in the Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville. Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday in Knox United Church, Lower Sackville, Reverend Robert Chapman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Petitcodiac. Family flowers only.
