Irene M. ( Gauvin ) Arsenault Irene M. ( Gauvin ) Arsenault, 101, of the Villa Providence, Shediac formerly of Steadman Street, Moncton passed away at the residence on Saturday, November 30, 2002. Born August 2, 1901 in Dover, NB she was the daughter of the late Théophile Gauvin and the late Gertrude ( Petitpas ) Gauvin. Prior to her residing in Shediac she attended the Assumption Cathedral in Moncton. She will be sadly missed by two sisters; Betty Leger ( late Alcide ) of Moncton with whom she resided along with their children, Annette, Carm and Nora for 33 years, Rose Goguen (late Arthur) of Moncton; special nephew, Henri (Rick) Cormier of Moncton and by several other nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Arsenault; two sisters, Eva( Camille ) Belliveau, Alice ( Philibert )Vautour and by five brothers, Arthur, Edgar, Albert, Henry and Ernest. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Tuesday from 10a.m. until time of the Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday December 3, 2002 at Frenette Funeral Home followed by a reception. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In her memory donations may be made to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation, (Cardiology or Oncology 862-4285) would be greatly appreciated by the family
