Muriel J. Burbridge 1911 - 2002 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mrs. Muriel Jean Burbridge, widow of the late Harry Burbridge, of King Street, Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Sunday, December 1, 2002, at the age of 91. Born in Black Point, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Nathamiel and Eva (Chalmers) MacMillian. She was a homemaker; a retired teacher; a member of St. Andrews United Church, a life member of the U.C.W., Maude Jardine Unit; a former member of Prince Charles Chapter # 27, Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by one son, Lloyd Burbridge, of North Vancouver, B.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Isabel Bond, of Windsor, N.S., Mrs. Harriet Stratton, of West Bank, B.C. and Mrs. Gladys Black, of Moncton; as well as several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry, in 1991; her daughter in law, Mrs. Adele Burbridge; one sister, Margaret Jack; two brothers, Lloyd and Robert MacMillian. Remains are resting at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King Street, with visiting on Tuesday, only from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held from St. Andrews United Church, on Wednesday, December 4, 2002, at 2 pm, conducted by Rev. Charlene Maguire. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
