Sharon Lynn Hawkes 1945 - 2002 OAKVILLE, ON - Sharon Lynn Hawkes, 56, of Oakville, Ontario passed away on December 9, 2002 at the Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Oakville, Ontario. She was born in Caribou Gold Mines, NS on December 24, 1945 the daughter of the late Clarence Cooke and Evelyn (Milton) Cooke. Sharon was employed at Longs Manufacturing in Oakville, Ontario, she was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 32, Hillsborough. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by her mother, Evelyn Cooke of Hillsborough; her daughter, Stacey Hawkes and grandaughter, Natasha Taft both of Burlington, Ontario; three brothers, Weston Beaumont, Byron Cooke and Robert (Bob) Cooke(Lana) all of Hillsborough. Sharon will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Clarence, she was predeceased by two sisters, Ada Cooke and Faye Tower. There will be a Memorial Service in Sharon's memory at the Albert County Funeral Home, Hopewell Cape. Internment will be in the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing. At the family's request no flowers please.
