Marie Bastarache BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Marie Bastarache, 81, wife of Tilmon Bastarache of Bouctouche, NB passed away at Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, SainteAnne de Kent, NB on Friday, December 13, 2002 after a lengthy illness. Born on August 2, 1921 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Hector Bastarache and Marguerite Melanson. She was a housewife and attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. She belonged to the Bouctouche Golden Age Club. She is survived by her husband Tilmon Bastarache; five daughters, Bernice Gallant (Emile) of Richibouctou, Rose-May Guimond (Vernon), Jacqueline Jaillet (Raymond) both of Bouctouche, Linda Allain (Danny) of Sainte-Anne de Kent, Fernande Henri (Roger) of Gardner, Mass.; two sons, Elmo (Andréa), Achille both of Bouctouche; one brother, Paul (Alvina) of Moncton; one half brother Cléo (Géraldine) of Bouctouche; one half sister, Yvette Cormier (Raymond) of Waltham, Mass; 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one son, Norman; two sisters, Ozite, Dora; four brothers, Antoine, (Odilon) Adelin, Arthur, Omer. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., Bouctouche, NB with visiting hours Sunday, December 15 from 7 to 9 and Monday from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday, December 16, 2002 at 7:00 pm. Interment in Parish Cemetery.
